IMG_7040 IMG_7043 Last year, I received a request for local items. Items with a local connection but still with a Frosty Flavor. I started my mission by creating a coffee mug. I painted a whimsical scene of my hometown and superimposed it onto a mug. I named it "We Belong in Rockford, Illinois". I launched the sale of the mugs with a local restaurant. They were an instant hit...and sold out in three hours(despite the snow storm that barreled through that morning). My local mission continued. I got to thinking...wouldn't it be fun to visit the local farmers market, local shops, events, etc sporting a local scarf? So...I created the "We Belong in Rockford" infinity scarf out of a fabulous gauzy material. My friend Peg did all the sewing. I am so excited about the way it turned out. Doesn't it look great on my Frostette, Elizabeth? She is ready to rock the town! Have a great day... xox lisA
