It's APPLE time. Yesterday I made this little Apple Cake. It was EASY and crowd pleasing! Any variety of apple will taste great. I used Granny Smith. It took me about 10 minutes to pull it all together.The house smelled so good as it was baking....OOOOOOwie! It looked beautiful when I pulled it out of the oven! Enjoy! xox lisA Recipe adapted from the Apple Lover's Cookbook by Amy Traverso. You will need: 1 stick of salted butter, melted 1 cup of flour 1 tsp of ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 c sugar 1 large egg 1/2 c chopped walnuts 2 large apples, peeled, cored and cut into pieces 1.Preheat oven to 350 and spray 8x8" pan 2. Mix dry ingredients, mix wet ingredients, seperately 3.Add apple and walnuts and stir by hand and the combine the  dry and wet together 4. Spread batter into an 8x8" pan and Bake for 40 minutes
