Thank you Wonderland

Lisa Frost
Wonderland Books and Toys is closing it's doors. This is the last weekend the store will be open. I feel so thankful to have been a part of the magic for so many years. Wonderland was such a special gift to the community. Here is a beautiful letter from the shop owner and friend, Erin. "It's time to say goodbye.... Dear Friends, What an amazing journey the past years at Wonderland have been. Time has flown by--a fact I am reminded of every time I look at my two beautiful daughters. A lot has changed, but a lot has remained the same: namely, our of books and getting those books into the hands of children. With that said, the time has come to end this chapter known as Wonderland. I hope that everyone will look back fondly on the amazing authors we brought to Rockford (Dav Pilkey! Marc Brown!), our signature events, and all the community partnerships we had formed. After almost three decades in Rockford, it's sad to say good-bye, but in the words of the great Dr. Seuss: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." Thank you for being a part of our extended family and allowing us to be a part of yours. xoxoxo Erin, Eliza and Ruby" Stop by and say goodbye this Saturday from 12-3pm.
