Frosted Flag Cupcakes

Here is a creative way to make and "frost-up" a batch of patriotic cupcakes.  Grab a box of white cake mix.  Divide it into three equal sections, in three separate bowls.  Add red food coloring to one bowl and blue food to another and stir (leave one bowl white). Transfer the frosting into plastic freezer bags and force the batter down into a corner of the bag.  Snip the corner with scissors and start pouring the batter into the cupcake liners in layers of, white and red on top! Bake according to package instructions. Let cool. Frost with white and add licoricie strips and blueberry stars...embellish with little embellishments.  Ta-da...Happy 4th! xox lisA
